"40, 0" always means 40 yards short of the green and "0, 0" always means standing on it, on every hole — the same numbers work everywhere, so this list automatically re-centers on whichever hole the round advances to as you score. Lateral is measured from the tee→green-middle line (positive = right, negative = left). The tee itself is step 0.
